Fraxel Repair® Laser
The Fraxel Repair® Laser is a new fractional CO2 laser treatment that will smooth your wrinkles and tighten the skin of your face and neck. Laser and IPL for Hair Removal
Dr. Brunner uses both Laser and Aurora, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) & Radiofrequency (RF) technology to provide long-lasting hair removal on any area of the body with only a slight sting. Both technologies remove unwanted hair from the face, back, legs, bikini line and other areas without damaging nearby tissue through the use of high-energy pulses of light. Dr. Brunner will choose the best method of hair removal for you.
VariLite Laser by Iridex
The VariLite dual wavelength laser is a quick effective and gentle treatment designed to reduce facial spider veins, rosacea, sundamage, brown spots and melasma. Treatment sessions typically take 30 minutes. A series of 3 to 5 sessions, scheduled at monthly intervals, is usually recommended. This highly effective laser treatment has no “down- time” and can be performed on the face, neck, chest and hands. Combination laser treatments with the Laser Facial and IPL- FotoFacial can also be performed.
Thermage®
Thermage® works by chilling the skin surface and simultaneously applying radiofrequency energy to produce heat under the skin, which then causes a gradual tightening of the collagen in the skin over a six-month period of time. The skin surface is spared from any injury, which allows patients to return to work or normal activities immediately.
MicroLaser Peel®
The Erbium MicroLaser Peel by Sciton® removes the outermost skin layers to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars and acne scars, brown spots and uneven pigmentation. MicroLaser peels offer a deeper peel (20-50 microns) than microdermabrasion (10-15 microns) and light chemical peels but a gentler peel than full laser resurfacing.
IPL Fotofacial
Fotofacial is a non-abrasive and non-invasive rejuvenation of your skin using the remarkable new technology of intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency (RF). The Aurora’s IPL and RF technology can correct or erase the signs of photoaging, rosacea, sun damage, and brown spots on the face, hands and body. It has also been used to reduce the appearance of mild acne scars, dark circles around the eyes, and to reduce fine lines around the eyes and mouth.
Photodynamic Therapy (IPL and Levulan), also called a Turbo FotoFacial, is great for active acne, rosacea, and actinic keratoses (precancerous lesions).
Laser Spider Vein Removal
Laser ablation takes only 45 minutes in two sessions. The procedure is painless and does not require anesthesia. The laser aims carefully controlled pulses of narrow-wavelength light at the damaged veins. The veins absorb the light and heat up, then collapse and close. They are then gradually re-absorbed by the body. Normal activities can be resumed immediately.
Acne/Blue Light Treatments
The Aurora combines Blue Light/Intense Pulsed Light with Radiofrequency to decrease Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria in your skin and oil glands that produces acne. A series of non-recovery treatments can significantly decrease your acne outbreaks and improve the texture of your skin.
Laser Tattoo Removal
Many people have second thoughts about their tattoos. Fortunately, you don’t have to live with your decision forever. Highly precise lasers can lighten or remove your tattoo by focusing or pulsing light on the ink particles, which then convert the energy to heat and break up into tiny pieces that are absorbed harmlessly by the body. All this can be accomplished without damaging the surrounding tissue. Results can generally be seen within a few weeks, although larger and darker tattoos may require more treatments than smaller, lighter ones. Occasionally, treated skin will look whiter (paler) than the skin around it, but this is usually temporary and fades in the months following treatment.
Laser Facial
The Laser Facial is a very versatile “no down- time” laser skin treatment designed to even out your skin pigmentation (including brown spots, sun damage and melasma), improve your skin texture, quality and pore size, reduce acne and acne scarring and give your skin a healthy glow. Although the treatment is called a Laser Facial, it can be performed on most regions of the body. The neck, chest, back abdomen, arms and legs can all be treated for brown pigmentation, improvement of skin quality and acne. For the Ultimate “No Recovery” Skin Treatment, a Laser Facial can be performed along with a FotoFacial, Varilite Laser or microdermabrasion, all in one session. The Laser Facial is a great way to maintain your results after Fraxel Laser Resurfacing, MicroLaser Peel, Medium peel and VariLite Laser treatments.
