Veni Chernev, B.C.E.S.C.
Veni brings to our practice a time-honored tradition of European elegance and sense of style. Raised in Bulgaria, the grand-daughter of an opera singer, she grew up in the atmosphere of the theatre, watching beautiful women transforming, applying makeup, and changing their image. This experience developed her interest in the study of beauty and design. From 1982 to 1985, Veni attended the College of Medical Aesthetics in Sophia, Bulgaria, where she studied the theory and practice of the medical aesthetics along with cosmetic applications in pre-operative and post-operative plastic surgery care. Soon after, she commenced work as an aesthetician for the Center for Medical Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery, the leading institution of its kind in the country.
She received further training in skin care and aesthetics from the prestigious Rene Giunot in New York City, and is licensed in both the State of NJ and NY as a board-certified skin care specialist and aesthetician. Her professional experience includes eight years with Beauty Dreams, in Princeton, NJ, as an aesthetician. For the past eleven years, she served as the Head Aesthetician and Manager of Mon Visage Day Spa at Princeton Plastic Surgery, the medical practice of a leading plastic surgeon in the New Jersey area.
Veni joins our practice with over 20 years of extensive expertise in medical aesthetics. She has performed every type of facial on all skin types. She specializes in treating problem skin types including: sensitive skin, rosacea and acne prone skin, pigment irregularities and melasma, sun-damaged and dry aging skin. She also performs a wide variety of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, electrolysis, and waxing. Veni’s vast experience includes skin care management before and after laser treatments and facial surgery. Veni brings an essential element of skin care that augments and complements Dr. Brunner’s skin rejuvenation laser center and cosmetic facial plastic surgery practice.
