One of the most important parts of any cosmetic surgery is the recovery period. Healing as intended can make the process go more smoothly as well as help to ensure the outcome is as described. This becomes even more important when multiple procedures are performed. Most of the instructions following the operation will be similar to what is given after a single technique; however, some elements will be unique to your customized treatment plan.

If you’re receiving a combination of facelift, neck lift, and eyelid lift surgery, it’s important to give yourself enough time to fully heal. This experience can take a little longer than perhaps it would if you only received one treatment. Therefore, you should plan to take off up to two or more weeks from your normal routine. Swelling, tenderness, bruising, and numbness may also fade more gradually, and Dr. Eugenie Brunner will provide more specific details during your initial consultation. Our skilled and friendly medical team will offer advice to make your recovery as comfortable as possible, including giving you prescription medication to manage your discomfort. Ice packs, keeping your head elevated even while sleeping, and other recommendations can further improve and expedite the healing process. After a couple of months you should be able to see the majority of the benefits, with recovery considered complete after about a year.

Your comfort, safety, and results are our highest priorities, and we encourage you to ask any questions that may come up. We want you to feel confident at every stage of the process.
