Liquid Facelift in Princeton New Jersey

If your face and your spirits could use a lift, but you’re too busy or not ready for surgery, a “liquid facelift” may be just right for you. That’s why expert facial plastic surgeon Eugenie Brunner, MD offers minimally invasive, nonsurgical facelifts to lift, firm, and rejuvenate your face quickly, easily, and beautifully. After less than an hour in the comfort of her Princeton, New Jersey facial plastic surgery office, you can emerge with a face that glows with renewed volume, lift, and firmness. No stitches, anesthesia, or recovery time necessary.

Benefits of A Liquid Facelift

Each non-surgical facelift is custom-designed to match your unique goals, anatomy, and skin type. After a consultation with Dr. Brunner, she will recommend the right combination of injectables such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, as well as lasers and devices, to transform your appearance.

The best thing about Dr. Brunner’s liquid facelifts—and her surgical procedures, too—is that your improvements can look perfectly natural. You’re never “overdone,” and you’ll never look like a carbon-copy of the celebrity-of-the-moment. You’re still the one-and-only you … just more youthful, fresher, and more confident.

What Can a Non Surgical Facelift Treat?

A liquid facelift can address a wide range of concerns, depending on the specific therapies used. Neuromodulators typically target dynamic wrinkles in the upper portion of the face, while dermal fillers are better at treating static wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Collagen stimulators are effective in restoring lost volume and adding subtle facial contouring. Lasers and devices can restore radiance and treat many other concerns. Specific issues addressed with a liquid facelift include:

  • Fine lines, wrinkles, and deeper creases
  • Loss of volume in the mid and lower face
  • Lips that have lost fullness and definition
  • Lines caused by facial expressions, typically occurring in the upper face
  • Early jowl formation along the jawline
  • Slight imperfections and asymmetries in the face
  • Areas that have begun to droop and sag

Dr. Brunner will take the time to identify all of your areas of concern, to ensure your liquid facelift addresses as many of them as possible in a single treatment session.

How Dr. Brunner Customizes Liquid Facelifts

As a trained facial plastic surgeon and artist, Dr. Brunner first looks at the canvas: Your bone structure and skin quality. She then discusses your aesthetic goals in depth so she knows what kinds of improvements to make. Finally, she selects the “paints” and tools that could best accomplish these goals.

Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin

The neuromodulators Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin relax the dynamic muscles in your face that create aging wrinkles such as:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines

Dr. Brunner uses a light touch so that the neuromodulator stops your muscles from creating wrinkles on the skin, but doesn’t stop them from making natural and flattering expressions. Your face will be expressive—not frozen—and free of dynamic wrinkles. The neuromodulators take from several days to two weeks to work and can last for up to four months.

Sculptra Aesthetic & Radiesse®

Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable dermal filler that Dr. Brunner uses to replace lost volume in your midface or to recontour and rebuild your cheeks and chin. Sculptra contains microparticles of safe, biodegradable poly-L-lactic acid that stimulate collagen production in your skin. Over the months after your treatment, your skin produces new collagen and elastin, rebuilding itself to be thicker, firmer, and more elastic.

Sculptra is a wonderful way to create or enhance cheekbones for a lifting effect that lights up your entire face. She may suggest layering the softer hyaluronic acid (HA) filler Voluma® on top of Sculptra for an even more natural look. Sculptra and Voluma last about 12-18 months.

Like Sculptra, Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating dermal filler. Radiesse is wonderful for filling in deep creases, such as the nasolabial folds that extend from the base of the nose. You may also want to consider rejuvenating your hands with Radiesse to match your now-youthful face. Radiesse lasts for up to a year or longer.

Juvéderm or Restylane Filler Collections

Both Juvéderm® and Restylane® offer dermal fillers with various consistencies to recontour your face, fill in wrinkles, and rejuvenate your lips. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that your skin produces to help skin retain moisture during your younger years. As you age, you lose HA, which is where the dermal fillers step in. With judicious use of the HA fillers, Dr. Brunner:

  • Erases fine lines and wrinkles
  • Fills in deep lines, such as marionette lines and nasolabial folds (NLF)
  • Reshapes lips
  • Restores or enhances lip volume

The thin-to medium consistency HA fillers last from 6-18 months. Some of them contain lidocaine, an anesthetic that helps keep you comfortable during your treatment.

Lasers and Devices

To address a wider range of aging symptoms, Dr. Brunner may recommend treatments beyond injectables. Her several resurfacing devices like Clear + Brilliant can further minimize fine lines, while improving the tone and texture of your skin, for a more youthful and radiant appearance. Evoke is another revolutionary device that can restore youthfulness without a recovery period. In two to three sessions, Evoke can restore a youthful contour to your jawline, providing a “non-surgical neck lift.” With Dr. Brunner’s 14+ laser and light devices, you can be sure one will work for your needs. Devices like these can treat:

  • Loose, sagging skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Enlarged pores
  • Irregular tone or texture
  • Jowls
  • Submental fat (under the chin)
  • Facial scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Dull skin tone

Compliment Your Liquid Facelift With Other Procedures

A liquid facelift is compatible with many other forms of nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. You may wish to combine your liquid facelift with:

Microneedling: Stimulate collagen to make your skin tighter, firmer, and more lifted with microneedling. Tiny needles work deep into the dermal structure to trigger the body’s own healing process and boost collagen levels.

Thread lift: Lift your face with absorbable sutures. NovaThreads instant facelifts require just one tiny incision on each side, through which Dr. Brunner threads the resorbable threads that lift and secure your excess skin. Thread lifts can last up to a year and look most natural when combined with volume replacement using collagen-stimulating or HA-based dermal fillers.

Facial liposuction: Fat reduction under the chin not only creates a more aesthetically-pleasing look, but it can also create a youthful contour along your jaw. SmartLipo uses laser energy to help dissolve fat and stimulate skin tightening. This method offers more effective and efficient fat removal with often less recovery and significantly more skin tightening than traditional liposuction.

How long will my liquid facelift results last?

Results of a liquid facelift will vary, based on the specific products used, treatment locations, and how quickly your body metabolizes the product. Neuromodulators typically last 3-4 months, while fillers can last six months to two years. Dr. Brunner will help you create a treatment schedule to help you maintain your improvement over the long term.

Am I a good candidate?

The best candidates for a liquid facelift are women and men who would like to address aging symptoms, but aren’t yet ready to invest in surgery. This procedure addresses a wide range of aging symptoms, making it appropriate for any patient who would like to refresh their appearance without incisions, anesthesia, or downtime.

Is a liquid facelift as good as a surgical facelift?

While a liquid facelift offers many advantages, it cannot produce the same effects as a surgical lift. The treatment will not offer the dramatic improvement of a facelift since skin laxity is not addressed. A liquid facelift typically lasts a few months, while surgery offers improvements that can last 10 years or more. Dr. Brunner will discuss your specific concerns and goals to help you choose the best treatment for you.
